2016: A Summer of Theatre Draws to a Close

UnknownI have returned to Jacksonville from my summer in New York City. While there I was able to take in a formidable 27 shows which equates to 2,970 minutes sitting in the air-conditioned darkness with live theatre. I saw 4 πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰ shows: Long Day’s Journey, Hadestown, Privacy, and Skeleton Crew and many, many πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰ shows. I saw 2 πŸ’‰ shows: Lucie Pohl β€œApohcalypse” and 2 by Tennessee Williams. I had to invite an entire new category: Poison ☠reserved for the very worst of theatre which I gave to Rhinoceros. I was also delighted to see two brand new plays featuring alumni of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. It was one terrific summer! Here is a list of the summer shows:
