The Cottage

The movements and blocking of the piece were right on point.  They worked totally as one machine.  Obviously, the director Jason Alexander knew exactly what he was doing!  Most importantly, everyone on stage was enjoying themselves.  They were having the time of their life!  This joy filled the theatre.  The premise of the show was silly; everyone was dating and interested in everyone else and their relatives. That just made for so much fun in the story. I only had one criticism of the show and that was that Act Two really could have used a few more surprises.  It seemed like in Act One they blew out all of the magic and the surprises and the mystery so that Act Two was left a little flat. I think the best of the farce should be delivered in the last act. But, in no way did this stand in the way of enjoying the show.
