One couple has a 2nd grade daughter. The wife of this couple is determined to play out a rape fantasy wearing her 8-inch purple (yes, that is her favorite color) dildo harness and βraping her husband.β The husband is against the idea and for some reason that becomes a deal-breaker to the ten-year marriage. Add to this profanity – – their 2nd grade daughter repeatedly almost overhears them. This is not funny. This is just horrendous.
Oh, but it gets better (actually worse) the other couple has a wife who has been begging her husband for years to get pregnant and start a family. He simply refuses. Here, I think we are on good terms with a good olβ family drama that makes sense. But it doesnβt stay there. Not is this dumpster of a play. We soon find the wife dressing up like a tee tiny little girl (think Shirley Temple) not to really amuse her husband but to arouse her husband because the only thing that arouses him is little girls. THATβS repulsive, but does the play stop there? No β She goes even further to engineer a New Years Eve party where she leaves her husband alone with the neighborβs 2nd grade daughter while she runs an errand with her parents all so her husband can get excited so he will be primed for her return. Is it all for shock? Is there any redeeming value here? Am I to take anything from this story home with me? Donβt think so. This play left me questioning whether I had turned into a prude as I approach my Seventies. Perhaps so. Even so, I do think this play needs to go away yesterday.
