I just cannot get enough of Laurie Metcalf on stage. She could sit there and read the phone book (if they still made those) and I would buy my ticket. Here, in Little Bear Ridge Road, we get to see Laurie Metcalf at her very best. In this 95 minute one-act written by Samuel D. Hunter, (coming off of his success with both the play and the movie The Whale). Laurie Metcalf, plays an independent, curmudgeonly Idaho woman whose gay nephew arrives in town to settle his dead, meth-addicted, and abusive fatherβs affairs. The play focuses on the long-strained relationship between these two people as well as the connections we do or do not make as we live our lives.
